A Brief History

The start of Providence was the culmination of years of prayer and preparation. The first phase of its campus having been completed in February 2003, the Seminary opened its doors of admission in June 2003 limiting its first batch of students to 15. The International Academic Advisory Committee, a body made up of pastors and teachers from the U.S., who have used their collective experience and wisdom to help put together curriculum and the course of study at the Seminary. The goal of the Committee was to establish a place for ministry training in India that maintains the highest international academic standards while, through mentoring and discipleship, preparing men who are passionate for the Lord and His Word.

Providence continues to have numerous visiting professors from outside of India as well as some of our best graduates returning to equip the next generation of church leaders.

 

The Seminary is committed to guarding the integrity of the Scriptures, faithfully communicating the whole counsel of the Word, as well as in teaching others to communicate the Truth without compromise.
